How do I clean and maintain my KitchenAid mixer?
Gently wipe your KitchenAid stand mixer with a damp cloth after each use
Absolutely DO NOT keep any attachments on the beater shaft when not in use, they can become stuck and very difficult to remove. Most people store them inside the mixer bowl when not in use
Regularly regrease and tune-up your KitchenAid stand mixer so it doesn't get damaged from grease breakdown
If you notice a brown liquid leaking around the beauty band or anywhere, stop using your KitchenAid stand mixer immediately and get it regreased. The grease is breaking down and needs to be changed

How do I use the three basic attachments?
The Flat Beater: This is the most versatile attachment. It's used for mixing ingredients like batters for cakes, cookies, and quick breads. It's also effective for mashing potatoes and blending ingredients like butter and sugar
The Dough Hook: This attachment is designed for kneading dough, especially for bread and pasta. Its shape helps to develop the gluten in the dough, resulting in a chewy and elastic texture
The Wire Whip: This attachment is ideal for whipping airy mixtures like egg whites, whipped cream, and frostings. The wire design incorporates air into the mixture, creating a light and fluffy texture
